Invite Players: Begin by inviting friends, family, and others to join you in an open or private tournament, with each participant, including yourself, completing the following steps."
Get a PayPal Account: The Stable Challenge utilizes the PayPal API for a secure and convenient method of processing entry fees.
Create a Tournament Login: Create a tournament account using a valid email address. Give your stable a catchy name that reflects your personality.
Tournament Entry: Each player selects a stable of horses from the designated race card to enter in the tournament. The number of horses in each stable will correspond to the number of races listed on the race card.
Selecting Stable Horses: Tournament players are required to choose one horse to win from each race listed on the race card for their stable. It is permissible for multiple stables to select the same horse.
Point System: Each horse listed on the race card is assigned a specific point value corresponding to its Morning Line odds. Horses with lower odds (favorites) have lower point values, while those with higher odds (long shots) have higher point values. This system incentivizes players to strategically balance their stable selections based on both perceived performance and potential value. Stable points are awarded to players only when one of their selected horses wins a race.
Entry Fees: The stable entry fee is based on the challenge level selected ranging from beginner-friendly options with lower entry fees to more advanced or high-stakes challenges requiring higher entry fees. Entry fees are pooled together to form the tournament’s prize pool. As more players enter the tournament, the prize pool grows, enhancing the overall attractiveness of the tournament and potential rewards for the winners.
Tracking Stable Performance: Players can track the performances of their stable entries throughout the day live at the track, on FanDuel TV or other horse racing media sources such as dedicated television channels, online streaming services, racecourse websites, and specialized horse racing apps.
Scoring: Once all races on the race card are concluded and deemed to be official, the tournament winner will be determined based on which stable has produced the highest point total and the most winners. Points carry more weight than the number of winners in determining the overall tournament winner.
Prize Pool: The tournament's winner will receive the entire prize pool. In case of a tie, the prize pool will be evenly divided among the winners.
